Module 2 — BODY: Anatomy, Movement + Teaching Foundations

$1,200.00

Understanding the body you're teaching Nov 13th-Dec 20th

60 Hours | 20 IN-person | 40 Virtual

This is where anatomy becomes something students can actually see, feel and teach—not simply memorize.

Core curriculum: functional anatomy; myology and kinesiology; major muscle groups and their actions; joints and movement patterns; planes of movement; mobility vs. stability; understanding compensation; muscular recruitment; sequencing larger/global muscles before smaller supporting muscles; translating anatomy into accessible yoga language; observing different bodies in movement.

This is also where practice teaching begins. Rather than waiting until the end of training, students start leading small portions of class—warm-ups, transitions, posture families and short sequences—with feedback.
